Photographing a Wedding is an important occasion for everyone involved. Gem Rey likes to give the ‘bride and groom’ space to enjoy their day while capturing a lovely collection of images. Recommended Venues, Locations & Suppliers

If you’re looking for a vintage wedding location in the UK that ticks all the boxes in every way then contact Preston Court Weddings in Kent. It’s beautiful there with a carousel and all sorts. I’ve loved photographing Wedding’s at this particular venue. It’s eclectic and unique.

Lovely locations and planners over at Bijou Weddings who look after Notely Abbey. I really loved this venue. In their own words, Notely Abbey: ” A medieval masterpiece that epitomises romance and glamour, this Buckinghamshire country house wedding venue, the former home of Sir Laurence Olivier and Vivien Leigh, has played host to both royalty and celebrity, from Henry VIII to Marilyn Monroe.”

“Stanford Hall” I’ve photographed GIVE! Festival for a few years now at this venue. The grounds are simply stunning and make a wonderful backdrop for anykind of party.

Head pieces by Louis Mariette, milliner extraordinair.

If you need something that is easy to wear and has some classic sparkle, then head over to Jimmy Choo and also check out Moda In Pelle – Bridal Shoes, If you like a more vintage style of shoe check out Rachel Simpson.

Jewellery with a rock’n’roll edge? The Great Frog.

A Little Street Kitchen” is a gorgeous cafe I absolutly love based in Amersham, Buckinghamshire and they also cater for Weddings and events.

Hair – “Oxygen Hair & Beauty” Beaconsfield. They use AVEDA products and offer massage and all sorts of must have pampering getting ready fun.

The Crazy Bear, Beaconsfield – Decadent and fun.

As we all know music makes the world go round, so when you’re planning a party the vibe needs to be just so. Check out award winning DJ Paul Linney. Paul Linney – Wedding DJ.

For some chic and elegant London essence I thoroughly enjoyed photographing a Wedding afternoon tea at Fortnum & Mason. The duck egg blues and the pretty crockery, cutlery and cakes with a good helping of champagne and such an excellent location to be based. So lovely.

If you are getting married in London and are planning a small, intimate ceremony then The Fitzrovia Chapel is absolutly stunning.

Dresses, well for me I’ve simply noted that everytime I see a dress that I love and ask who it’s by, the answer is nearly always Jenny Packam.

Wedding Car

If you’re planning to arrive in something pretty exquisite, such as a classic american Checy, then get in touch. My own little sunshine yellow VW Beetle called “Orbie” is also an option should you wish to have a vintage yet fun addition to your day and photographs.
