Spending quality time with those you love really does mean a great deal. It’s always fun to challenge myself to make a new recipe. This one has become a big favourite in my family. If you love millionaire shortbread then you’ll love this. Christmas is a time when all the fragrances on offer are a continuous temptress to the senses, especially the taste buds. With my Father’s 80th Birthday party just around the corner, we decided to get busy in the kitchen and make these rather decadent “Malted Millionaire Slices”. Not only did they taste utterly amazing, but the swirly whirly white chocolate on the milk surface is really fun to do. I highly recommend you give these a go. It’s fun for adults and kids as the results are interesting and creative no matter what you do. What I didn’t know was going to happen was that making these inspired me to get my camera out and do some food photography. I thoroughly enjoyed the process and it gave me a surge in my creative flow. I’m always grateful for that. It’s not long until Easter, so what am I going to make next?…
